The Announcement Bar allows you to display important messages such as promotions, announcements, or updates at the top of your store.

Accessing the Announcement Bar Settings

• From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

• Find your active theme and click on Customize.

• In the theme editor, navigate to Theme Settings and select Announcement Bar.

 

Customization Options

• Country and Region Selector: Display different messages based on the user's location. Select specific countries or regions for targeted messaging.

• Language Selector: Automatically detect the user's language and display corresponding text.

• Text Formatting:

  • Icons: Add attention-grabbing icons (e.g., cart, bell).

  • Bold Text: Emphasize important information like discounts or offers.

  • Generate Text: Use dynamic text for product availability or promotions.

  • Attach a Link: Link to specific pages or collections, such as sales or product pages.

• Color Customization: Customize the text and background colors of the announcement bar.

  • Text Color: Choose a color for the announcement text.

  • Background Color: Select a background color for the bar to match your branding.

• Auto-Rotating Announcement:

  • Multiple Announcements: Add multiple rotating messages within the announcement bar.

  • Set Timings: Customize the timing for how long each message stays visible before rotating to the next one. For example, set it to display each message for 5 seconds.

• Delete Announcement Bar: Remove the announcement bar by clicking the Delete Icon (trash can).
